So, Are Lab-Grown Diamonds Real? Lab-created diamonds as the name suggests are diamonds formed inside a lab. A diamond seed is put under high temperature and pressure to manufacture it into a fully grown diamond. The diamond growing process is inspired by nature, scientists have successfully imitated the natural environment to culture diamonds in the lab.

There are two methods of formation of diamonds, one is HPHT (High Pressure and High Temperature) and another is CVD (Chemical Vapor Deposition).

Unlike Moissanite, Lab-grown diamonds are 100% real. Often, people in the United States call it with different names like synthetic diamonds, man-made diamonds or lab-created diamonds and many more.

Difference Between Lab-Grown Diamonds & Natural Diamonds

The difference between a natural diamond and a lab-grown diamond is its origin. Apart from this difference, both the diamonds are the same optically, chemically and physically. Both the diamonds have the same sparkle, brilliance, clarity, color, etc.
